an occasional, random burst of words, a pile of phrases and the rare moment of brilliance . . .
"What sort of diary should I like? I should like it to resemble some deep old desk, or capacious hold-all, in which one flings a mass of odds & ends without looking them through. I should like to come back... & find the collection had sorted itself & refined itself... as such deposits so mysteriously do." --V. Woolf
I am a writer. I have no other choice. It is not what I do, it is who I am. This blog is a place to collect my thoughts, my ideas, my stories and observations.
It's also a place where you'll find some of my older poetry, though now, I keep all that on my poetry site. The link is at the top of this page.
Both sites are a work in progress. I hope you'll stay a while and read, and keep coming back for more.
I am a lover of words, a gatherer of phrases, a reader of pages and a communicator of thoughts. I am absolutely amazed at the power, and beauty of words. I love to write, to read, and to talk.
